Our mission is to lift our brothers and sisters in arms who have served Canada out of the isolation in which they have lived, to restore their taste for life and to create a healthy environment conducive to trust. Being all united by common experiences, we collectively want to save lives.
Our mission is also to preserve and improve our military heritage and to promote memory.
These missions can only be accomplished by bringing together veterans of the new generation through meetings and activities. All in order to establish and renew friendships, it is the duty of each member to promote and represent the group with pride and honour at all times. We want to improve the image of veterans by what it projects.
The group develops a mobilizing leadership among the members and wants to maintain, with the collaboration of the leaders, a unifying action that encourages esprit de corps and camaraderie. The group supports active and/or retired members by providing support and advice when they are in need. It allows members to meet, exchange and through regular activities to stay in touch with its members and establish a relationship of trust. Together and united for the cause, loneliness and isolation will be less painful.
As soon as the member puts on his crest, he must be respectful and intelligent in his actions and gestures, the grouping does not want to be political, therefore automatically, you are forbidden to demonstrate for any cause with your crest.
There is no annual renewal required. This grouping exists to allow members to find each other, to stay in touch, to share and above all, to never forget our brothers and sisters in arms who have fallen in battle physically and mentally wounded. This battle that Veterans are fighting in the community is a daily struggle.
In our mission we want to help veterans find better health, we do not have the medical qualifications, but we are all veterans who have gone through the system and know most of the programs and resources available. So together we can help you and figure out how to direct you to the organizations that will help you get through this. We want to interact with other groups, fraternized and this in friendship and respect.
VISION
The group’s vision is to improve the quality of life of every Canadian Armed Forces veteran by offering compassion, friendship and respect. As well as reconnecting and regaining that family feeling that we had in the Canadian Armed Forces before our release. The sense of camaraderie that makes the army, its strength and the help that makes it invulnerable.
VALUES
The group takes the concerns and barriers of each of its members to heart. It recognizes the demands of military service and the sacrifices involved in such a career. The group is committed to creating and maintaining, within its group, an environment conducive to camaraderie and a spirit of belonging based on the following fundamental values:
Respect
Regroupment applies respect with special consideration to our brothers and sisters in arms and other organizations. Respect is required for those experiencing difficult times so as not to harm them. The grouping respects the dignity, rights and personal values of each member.
Respect is a two-way street and must be received at all times and given not only to each other, but also to the citizens, if we want to be respected, let us also respect others. Your actions are observed and greatly imitated.
Honesty
No criminal affiliation or behaviour will be tolerated. Also, the grouping accepts absolutely no 1% crest, nor irresponsible behavior with the wearing of our crest. Each member must be proud and respectful of their membership in the group. All members have a responsibility to be able to prove that the decorations, medals and qualifications they affix to their jackets are legitimate. Any criminal act of a member will result in an automatic expulsion from the grouping.
Compassion
The group is committed to listening to the confidences of its brothers and sisters in arms with empathy and discretion. He also pledges to provide assistance in finding the necessary resources for the member and his family.
